IMT cables manufacture Composite cables more commonly known as rubber cables. The elastomeric cables have different insulation and sheathing combinations VIZ:VIR/TRS,EPR/PCP,EPR/CSP, Silicon etc. These cables are manufactured with /without inner sheathing with/without Copper/GI/Steel/Fibre Glass Braiding as per BIS:9968/Part-I/Part-II.

About 3 decades back rubber cables were manufactured with natural rubber insulation. Gradually over the years natural rubber was replaced with different type of synthetic rubber compounds.
